The Assistant Coach Leadership Series (ACLS) intends to assist schools and youth development entities in offering a character development strategy and providing an anchor for youth development organizations to share information. These “resource centers” serves as a safe house for all components and stakeholders involved. We believe that in order for youth to have full access to opportunity, the involvement of parents, community, and schools are imperative
We offer an innovative and fun program for students, focusing on teamwork, respect, responsibility, fair play and perseverance – all of which are imperative to succeed in today’s world. The program uses our non-profit status to connect with other non-profits to increase the availability of services offered. As a condition of enrollment into the ACLS, the youth contribute equally and are required to participate in three fundraising events. We also pursue funding from special events that are fee based.
Together, with our brother and sister organizations, the ACLS reaches deep within the community to provide the following:
Gang Prevention Character Development
Comprehension and Literacy Math and Science Programs
Nutrition Education Transportation
Mentoring and Life Skills Domestic Violence Awareness
Currently Assistant Coach operates in schools, churches and recreation centers. We would like to acknowledge and thank our strategic partners The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, Prevention Services Division, Highlands Ranch Community Association, North High School, Smiley Middle School and Martin Luther King Jr. Early College. Our goal is to offer programming that engages youth and strengthen communities’ efforts in becoming advocates for themselves. The organization has also collaborated with Mile High United Way-Bridging the Gap, Denver Public Schools, Aurora Public Schools, The GoldCrown Foundation and The Jr. Nugget Youth Basketball League, which works in conjunction with the YMCA.
You Can Help Change Lives.
We hope that you will want to play a significant role in this program as it develops and grows. And as a bonus, not only will you be helping children in underserved communities, but you will be helping the Denver community as well by creating jobs in the metro area. Below is a list of our current donors.

Our hope is that all of our students will discover their value in the world and that they will make a positive difference in the lives of others. Please support us in our mission to help give direction and goals to young students. Your contribution can improve the lives of our kids, as well as our community.
Sincerest regards,
Assistant Coach
