Our innovative program was developed and created around the fundamentals of
athletics. Currently, our sport of focus is basketball and we offer instructional
sessions to girls and boys at all levels. The program operates in private, group
and team sessions that allow participants better their individual or team skills. Our
fundamental sessions are available to everyone from beginners to the most elite
athletes, with the goal being to provide a positive athletic experience for those want
to play competitive sports. The athletes involved will gain valuable information and
insight to areas in which they can stay connected to their sport of choice. Let’s face
it, not everyone is going to make it big, but staying connected to the sport you love
is priceless.
While training has been our focus, we also provide other opportunities to ensure a
successful competitive experience:
•
The Annual Assistant Coach Jamboree Hoops Classic (Link to
www.aaubasketballco.com) – a competitive boys and girls basketball
league that is aligned with the AAU (Amateur Athletic Union).
•
•
The Annual Colorado High School Challenge – a 3-point shootout, girl
and boy 2-ball, skills challenge and dunk contest.
•
Rocky Mountain State Games – Commissioners of Basketball
Division – The State Games concept was developed in New York in 1978
with the Empire State Games. Annually, more that 400,000 athletes compete
in the State Games nationwide. The Games feature various sports from the
Olympic and Pan American Games programs as well as sports with regional
popularity in each state. Organized and managed by the Colorado Springs
Sports Corporation, the Rocky Mountain State Games (RMSG) is a multi-
sport festival for Colorado citizens of all ages and athletic abilities including
physically challenged, visually impaired and paralympic athletes. RMSG
is recognized by the National Congress of State Games, a member of the

One-day Assistant Coach Programs
Our basketball program is not only an alternative to physical education class; it’s
also a great idea for birthday parties and field days. From 3-on-3 to 5-on-5 plays,
our intentions are to establish the environment for successful competition and
appreciation for the game. Future endeavors include coaching clinics and referee
clinics.
